Alleluia! December, our month of holiday and other festive celebrations, opens our concert season. This first concert is representative of a variety of musical styles and expressions highlighting the meaning of the season with outstanding sacred and secular music. Enjoy the energy in Psalm 96 by Merrill Bradshaw and also in Alleluia by Jake Runestad. The Christmas Alleluias by Kim André Arnesen is our major work and will feature solo harp accompaniment and vocal solos. We’ll close with the King’s Singers arrangements of The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) and Jingle Bells.

Festival of Lessons and Carols is presented in cooperation with the music ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church and includes carols, Bible readings as well as selections from our Sing We Now of Christmas concerts.
