The Master Singers of Virginia is the premier mixed choral ensemble in Northern Virginia.  Based in Loudoun County, the ensemble is dedicated to bringing the highest quality choral music to the people of the Washington, D.C. region. Concentrating primarily in 20th- and 21st-century a cappella classical music, the group performs programs to enrich, educate, and entertain its audiences.  The Master Singers work toward the vision of bringing people together through transcendent choral experiences.

MSVA Announces Search for New Artistic Director

The Master Singers of Virginia (MSVA) based in Ashburn VA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced artistic director to lead the ensemble beginning in its 2023-2024 season. “Modern choral music... masterfully,” has served as the motto, and mission, throughout this ensemble’s 27-year musical journey which has positioned the ensemble as the premier a cappella choir in Northern Virginia. Traditionally, the MSVA has had a particular focus on 20th/21st-century choral music in a variety of traditional and specialized settings. In addition, the ensemble has collaborated with the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra, Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Greater Washington, and smaller ensembles of professional musicians to occasionally present larger works.
